Interested in adopting a dog?

All potential adopters must complete and submit a Dog Adoption Application. Submitting an application prior to meeting the dog does NOT reserve the dog. Adoptions are done in-person at a first come basis and any current dog(s) in the household will need to meet the potential new dog to make sure it's a good match. HSLC staff will review all applications and reserve the right to deny any application. All adopters must provide a valid photo ID and must be at least 18 years old.

 

Dog Adoption Fee: $150.00

Dog that has completed a training program: $200.00

Includes up-to-date vaccines (for their age), microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm tested and on flea & tick preventatives. Any dog waiting to be spayed or neutered can be pre-adopted. That dog may not go home until after it has been spayed or neutered.
